Armored breastplates were issued for the initial assault across no mans land in an effort to protect as many men as possible. Once on the enemy, the armor could be dumped, and each man would go to work with grenades, pistols, clubs, and knives; whatever got the job done! Our 'Trench Raider' figure represents one of these young, well trained, and highly motivated storm troopers.
